
My mouth was finally feeling better today, so I was able to eat some. We also had a work lunch as a farewell to a long time employee, so I ate lunch there. It was two small pieces of pizza, much less than I would normally have eaten, so that felt really good.
It was also my daughter's birthday, so we went out for pizza again, because that's what she wanted. I had one slice then, too, and ate some birthday cake and a few other things later. I don't really like the term "cheat day", because I don't like to think of myself as cheating, but having an occasional day where you eat more than usual can be helpful to prevent your body from getting into a rut, and it can boost your mood a bit. I didn't go crazy, and I feel really good tonight.
